There is no chart coming home for the week of March 24 because I was out on Friday.
Today we had our school nurse, Mrs. O'Malley, come in and teach us the importance of hand washing. She spread "germs" on our hands so that we could see them under the blacklight. It was a great lesson!!!
Now that the ELA MCAS is over, we decided to celebrate by having an "Electricity Day"! We spent the day experimenting and having fun. Students created complete circuits, explored conductors and insulators, and played with static electricity. Ask your child what they learned :)
Students experiment and try to light a lightbulb using only a wire and a battery. Many of them figured it out!!
On Monday, we will complete our practice MCAS test. Please send in two snacks with your child.
Monday is also a spirit day. Please wear green! Conference slips went home on Monday. Please return this slip as soon as possible.
Wednesday is a half day. Our hours are 8:45-12:30. Coffee with the principal is Thursday from 9:30-10:30. Sundaes and Strategies is Friday from 3:00-5:00. |
