We decorated trees with pattern blocks that held different values. Students figured out the total value of their tree using multiplication.
We are approaching the final part of our fable unit. Students wrote the morals of fables in their own words as we move away from Aesop and into modern fables.
We are off to great start!!! So far, we have 11 acts of kindness! The hearts were added to our bulletin board. Here's a picture of Keagan helping to make breakfast for his sister. So sweet! 👍🏻
Our class goal is 80. This is a voluntary activity.
Here's the list that the class came up with...
We have been learning about square products. Students used square centimeter paper to create square arrays. The they stacked them to make skyscrapers. The product is written on each square.
Students were responsible for creating a hideout to keep the turkey hidden for Thanksgiving. This was. a very difficult STEM project. We discussed reasons that they struggled (materials) and how we could improve our designs next time.
