Today we modeled how the Earth revolves and rotates around the sun. Bjorn, in yellow, played the sun. Joey was the Earth because he was wearing blue and green. 👍🏻

Bring Your Own Device Program Hello Parents, If you were present at Welcome Back Night, you heard me speak about launching a “Bring Your Own Device” program in our classroom this year. I have been asked by Mr. Cateon to find out who would be willing to participate in this program to see if it would be feasible. If you have an internet ready device that you would be willing to have your child bring to school to use, please let me know so that I can get a count. Student Name: ____________________________________________________ ▢ We have a device that could be brought into school. Device: __________________________________________ ▢ We do not have a device that could be brought into school. Also, if you haven’t returned the email form so that I can stay in contact with you, please do that ASAP or just send me an email at [email protected] with your information. I will send out a test email later this week. Thank you! Mrs. Martin We were so lucky to have a visit from NASCAR today! The students got to hear about how teamwork is important in the sport. They also got to tour the hauler and check out a real racing car!
On Wednesday we had an author come and visit us. His name is Adam Shaughnessy. He was such an incredible storyteller! Be sure to check out his books.
Third grade participates in banking with Bristol County Savings Bank. Yesterday the bank came to explain the program to the students. If your child is interested in opening up an account so they can bank at school, please return the paperwork. Dates for banking are on the back of our homework folders. The first one is October 4th. Thanks!
Reminder! Open House is tomorrow (Thursday) from 6-8 pm. I will be presenting from 7:05-7:20. Thanks!
Thank you so much for all of the paper!!!! We have also gotten many tissues. It is greatly apprecIated! 😊
Tomorrow is a half day. Please note the time change.
It is also hat day. The PTO is asking for a donation of paper to our school instead of a monetary donation. Thank you! Students reviewed state symbols using Kahoot! This online quiz game had them work as teams and compete against each other. Teams who answered the fastest were awarded more points. We had a blast! 👍🏻
