It amazes me that students still struggle with adjectives in third grade. We are going to do a fun activity that relates to this topic. Each night, a different student will take home the "Adjective Surprise" bag. They should put an object in the bag and then describe it using 10 adjectives. The following day when they bring it in, students will guess what is in the bag based on the description. I am the Friday Featured Faculty member on the Willett Facebook page. Check it out. 😊 Students had to register to vote with me. Then, they went on the Chrome Books to cast their vote. The winner was....science tools. I am including a screenshot of the dress they picked from an episode of Magic School Bus. What fun!
Every year for Book Character Day, I dress up as Ms. Frizzle. This year, I am letting the class decide which science topic I should use to decorate my dress. Below is the survey that students can use to vote. |
